The top two candidates in the spirited Democratic primary for the Eighth District congressional seat traded barbs Monday over ties to financial fraudsters.

Hoboken Mayor Ravi Bhalla, who’s running to unseat Rep. Rob Menendez Jr. in June, took a swipe at the incumbent for $250,000 spent by a super PAC funded by disgraced crypto mogul Sam Bankman-Fried to promote Menendez Jr.’s 2022 campaign.
