Nearly a dozen shots were fired on Grant Avenue in Jersey City Monday night, striking a car and multi-family home, authorities said.
Jersey City police on patrol in the area heard approximately 10 shots fired and responded to the area of Grant between Martin Luther King Drive and Ocean Avenue at 8:43 p.m.
The officers found a building and vehicle had been struck multiple times, city spokesman Stan Eason said.
