The Kenergy was still alive and well at the 2024 Oscars Sunday night.

Three-time nominee Ryan Gosling, donning a pink suit, performed “I’m Just Ken” from “Barbie” accompanied by 65 male backup dancers in black suits and cowboy hats.

During a surprise moment during the performance, Gosling was joined by iconic Guns N’ Roses guitarist Slash, whose real name is Saul Hudson, on the guitar. Wolfgang Van Halen, son of Eddie Van Halen and frontman for Mammoth MVH was also spotted in the performance, as were studio stalwarts Mark Ronson and Andrew Wyatt (who co-wrote “I’m Just Ken.”)

“I’m Just Ken” was nominated for best original song, along with other “Barbie” song “What Was I Made For?” written and performed by Finneas O’Connell and Billie Eilish, which ended up winning in the category.
