Mega Millions winning numbers, live results for Friday’s $20M lottery drawing

The Mega Millions jackpot for Friday’s lottery drawing has rolled back to $20 million with a cash option of $9.5 million after someone who bought a ticket at ShopRite Liquors in Neptune Township won Tuesday’s massive $1.13 billion prize.

The winning numbers were: 11, 30, 33, 38 and 60. The Mega Ball drawn was 16 with a Megaplier of 4X.

Update: One ticket worth $1 million was sold in California, with all five regular numbers matched but not the Mega ball in Friday night’s drawing, according to the official Mega Millions website. Sixteen people across the nation won a $10,000 prize for matching four regular balls plus the Mega ball, and two people won prizes of $40,000. Those two tickets matched four regular balls and the Mega ball, along with playing the Megaplier option. The jackpot for the next drawing, scheduled for April 2, is estimated at $36 million, with a cash option of $17.1 million.

In addition to the jackpot-winning ticket, 10 third-prize Mega Millions tickets worth $10,000 or $20,000 were sold in New Jersey for last Tuesday’s drawing. Each matched four numbers plus the Mega Ball.

Tuesday’s winning Mega Millions numbers were: 7, 11, 22, 29 and 38. The Mega Ball drawn was 4 with a Megaplier of 2X.

In addition, 13 second-prize tickets worth $1 million or $2 million were sold. Two $1 million tickets were sold in New York — in Cicero and Locus Valley, officials said. The jackpot prize is the 8th largest in U.S. lottery history.

Players have a 1 in 12,607,306 chance of a ticket matching five numbers but not the Mega Ball and winning at least $1 million. The odds of matching four numbers plus the Mega Ball for a prize valued of at least $10,000 are 931,001 to 1.

Saturday’s Powerball jackpot is potentially the 11th largest in U.S. lottery history. It’s worth an estimated $935 million with a cash option of $452.3 million.
