Pa. man seriously injured in N.J. interstate crash

A Pennsylvania man was seriously injured in a crash early Sunday in Hunterdon County, police said.

The 48-year-old Coplay man was driving west on Interstate 78 in Clinton Township shortly before 4 a.m. when he “lost directional control” of his vehicle, ran off the roadway and struck a guardrail, a New Jersey State Police spokesman said.

He was taken to an area hospital for treatment of unspecified injuries, the spokesman stated.
