Ralph Cirella, Howard Stern’s friend, stylist — a longtime N.J. resident — dies at 58

Ralph Cirella, a longtime Jersey City resident, and Howard Stern’s close friend and stylist, has died after a battle with a rare lymphoma, according to a press release from Stern.

Cirella was 58 and was born in New Jersey.

“I think this is the toughest part of loving someone — when you lose them. Lord knows I loved Ralph,” Stern said in a statement. “My wife said to me last night, ‘You and Ralph have a secret language’ and it’s true … we had a great chemistry, and we had a great friendship, and Ralph was one of my bros. In fact, I came to think of Ralph as family.”
