The ‘line’ helps voters find the candidates they want to support | Quigley

“You’re known by the company you keep.” “Birds of a feather flock together.” All those truisms are, well, true.

That’s why I think “the line” is a help to voters, not a problem.

I also benefited from it for 18 years, so I can’t be a hypocrite and say I’ve suddenly discovered it’s a bad thing. It isn’t. It never was.
