“American Idol” judges Katy Perry, Luke Bryan and Lionel Richie have chosen Season 22′s Top 24 contestants during the last episode on Monday, April 1.

A total of 56 contestants competed in the “Showstopper Round” and the “Final Judgement” following Sunday night’s episode, where viewers saw the judges cut more than 80 contestants from the lineup.

What round are the "American Idol" Top 24 contestants moving on to next?

The "American Idol" Season 22 Top 24 contestants are moving on to the “Hawaii Round” on Sunday, April 7 and Monday, April 8.

They will compete at Aulani, A Disney Resort and Spa, in Oahu, Hawaii.

Idol mentors Tori Kelly and Jelly Roll will join the contestants at the resort to train the singers and prep them for the remainder of the competition.

When is the "American Idol" Season 22 finale?

The “American Idol” Season 22 finale is scheduled for Sunday, May 19.

The three-hour episode will crown the new “American Idol” and is expected to include a tribute to judge Katy Perry as a sign-off to her final year on Idol. Perry has been a judge on the show since ABC revived the popular competition series in 2018.
