The Mega Millions jackpot for Tuesday’s lottery drawing climbed to $45 million cash option of $20.8 million.
The winning numbers were: 10, 50, 56, 60 and 66. The Mega Ball drawn was 19 with a Megaplier of 3X.
While no one across the country hit Friday’s $20 million jackpot, a second-prize ticket worth $146,532 was sold in California. California lottery prizes vary depending on ticket sales and number of winners. They differ from the fixed second prizes offered in other participating states.
Friday’s winning numbers were: 11, 30, 33, 38 and 60. The Mega Ball drawn was 16 with a Megaplier of 4X.
Mega Millions drawings are held on Tuesday and Friday in 45 states, along with Washington, D.C. and the U.S. Virgin Islands. Tickets are $2 each.
The odds of a $2 ticket winning the Mega Millions jackpot by matching five numbers and the Mega Ball are 302,575,350 to 1.
Wednesday’s Powerball jackpot is worth an estimated $1.09 billion with a cash option of $527.3 million. It’s potentially the 9th largest in U.S. lottery history.
