A 25-year-old motorcyclist from northern New Jersey was killed in a crash with a pickup truck in Florida last week, authorities said.
The victim, from Little Falls in Passaic County, was riding south on Dale Marby Highway in Tampa shortly before 1 p.m Wednesday when he collied with a northbound truck turning left into a Walmart shopping center, the Florida Highway Patrol said.
The driver of the pickup truck and his passenger — Tampa residents in their 50s — were not hurt, officials said.
A Florida Highway Patrol spokesman declined to provide the name of the New Jersey man.
